This is a great day trip for those interested in sea kayaking in the bay.
We will depart from Manly Harbour on the bay.
This is tide dependent, and the high tide is about 10:00 AM. We will aim to leave Manly about 9 AM and go anticlockwise crossing to the south end of the island, then go around the eastern side through the mangroves, to stop on the sandy spit on the north west corner of the island. We will spend up to 1-2 hours there having lunch. We may practice some skills. Beginners will have an opportunity to learn some skills. We will then return directly to Manly from the north end. If the group is strong enough and time allows, we may elect to cross to the south west tip of St Helena island (extra 6 km).
