Want to try kayaking? Do your friends want to try? This is your chance. The start of semester come and try day is scheduled for Saturday 27 Feb, from 8:00 AM to 12 noon . Prospective members are encouraged to come.

Current members please come along, help out, and meet new people. Help the club get a good start to the year.

Time: 8:00AM to 12 Noon (any time in the morning)
Location: UQ Canoe Club Boat shed, located here.
Cost: Only $5 and includes the barbeque & drinks. Free for current members who come and help.
Come dressed in sensible gear (e.g. shorts, shirt (long sleeves if possible, and shoes that you don’t mind if they get wet). A hat and dark glasses are also recommended. You can bring a towel and dry clothes just in case….. (though it’s not likely you’ll need these). There are warm showers and toilets in the shed complex if required.
You must be able to swim (you will also need to sign a club waiver on the day).
